Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GrowthLine Software handles data for its Shopify apps and public support channels.
Apps covered
This policy covers GrowthLine File Cleaner, GrowthLine Catalog Doctor, and GrowthLine Catalog Backup.
GrowthLine File Cleaner helps merchants prepare supplier CSV and Excel files before importing product data. GrowthLine Catalog Doctor scans product catalogue data and produces issue reports or reviewed fix exports. GrowthLine Catalog Backup creates product catalogue restore points, comparison reports, and recovery files for merchant review.
Data we process
GrowthLine File Cleaner processes supplier files, column mappings, validation results, exported CSVs, and issue reports. It does not request customer or order scopes from Shopify.
GrowthLine Catalog Doctor processes product, variant, inventory, image-reference, collection, and catalogue visibility data needed to produce health scans and reports. It does not request customer or order scopes from Shopify.
GrowthLine Catalog Backup processes product catalogue data needed for restore points, diff reports, and recovery files. Catalog Backup does not store orders, customers, payments, themes, blogs, or discounts.
Storage and infrastructure
Application records may be stored in app databases for account settings, job history, mapping profiles, scan results, backup metadata, retention status, and support diagnostics.
Uploaded files, generated exports, report files, backup packages, and recovery artifacts may be stored in Cloudflare R2 or comparable application storage used by GrowthLine Software.
AI provider behavior
Some workflows may allow a merchant to connect a bring-your-own AI provider for optional catalogue guidance or recovery advice. When enabled, selected catalogue context or diff data may be sent to the provider configured by the merchant for that workflow.
GrowthLine Software does not use BYO AI provider content to train GrowthLine-owned models, and merchants should review their chosen provider's terms, privacy settings, and data-retention behavior.
Deletion and contact
Merchants can request deletion of app account records, stored source files, generated files, backup artifacts, and support data where retention is not required for security, billing, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
When Shopify sends a privacy cleanup webhook after uninstall, GrowthLine apps delete shop-owned records and referenced file artifacts according to each app's cleanup workflow.
